We understand that allowing someone into your own home requires trust and mutual respect. Our team of nurses and carers undergo rigorous selection and training; we not only recruit for the right qualifications, but we look for people who are genuinely passionate about providing care in the home.

Formerly known as Clinical Care Professionals, we have been a nursing service for more than 25 years, so you can rest assured that you are in safe hands with our highly qualified clinical and personal care team. Our expert care coordinators will guide you through the process of setting up your services and matching you with a personally selected home care team.

Our stories

Katie's Story

Accessing the community is one of Katie’s top priorities. On any given day, you will find Katie at the zoo checking out the elephants, at the museum, planetarium or enjoying a coffee at her favourite café.

Liam's Story

Assisting Liam 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, the two can often be found cooking, playing darts, the PlayStation or Ping-Pong, a game Kerry has picked up over the past six months and has become admittedly quite good at!

Bill's Story

Bill served 13 years in the Royal Australian Navy, spending the majority of his time sailing in the Pacific. After retiring from service, Bill relocated to Brisbane to commence work with the Department of shipping and transport, where he was responsible for maintaining a number of manned lighthouses along the Queensland coast. In his later years Bill experienced a number of health issues stemming from his time in the armed forces

Colin's Story

Since his discharge from hospital, Colin has been working towards his goals of being able to walk unaided, reopen his second-hand store and ultimately take his wife on a holiday to the Atherton Tablelands. With a rigorous physiotherapy routine, Colin has seen significant progress in edging towards reaching these goals

Corinne's Story

After finishing school, Corinne worked at a special needs summer camp in America, where she fell in love with the feeling of helping others and experiencing the joy they felt. “Working one on one with clients, helping them achieve their goals is extremely rewarding, you can really see the positive impact it has on their lives.”

Debi's Story

Community nursing provides Debi with flexibility and variation in her day. She visits clients throughout south east Queensland and loves meeting many great personalities along the way. Debi carries out in-home assessments, implementation of simple to complex wound care, showering assistance for those returning from hospital or at risk of falls, continence assessments and medication administration.

Jim's Story

With a variety of interests, Jim is one of the busiest clients on the Programmed Care roster! When he is not at home listening to the ABC radio, or keeping up to date with politics and other current affairs, you can find Jim fishing with his friends at Princess Pier.

Kevin's Story

After 25 years in the Australian Army working as a weapons technician, including tours of Borneo and Vietnam, Kevin now feels most comfortable at home creating beautiful artwork, using wood burning techniques, with his dog Charlie by his side.

Lynn's Story

Joining the team in 2016, Lynn is one of our disability support workers, providing care to Programmed clients in South Australia. Looking after two clients on a daily basis, Lynn is up early and at her first client’s home by 7am to help him get out of bed and ready for the day and then heads to her next client’s house to assist him to get ready for school. Back and forth between client’s homes all day, Lynn calls it a day once she has finished tidying up after dinner, prepared everything for the

Patrick's Story

Patrick understands first-hand how important support is to those in need. When he was younger, his best friend developed a rare degenerative condition and he saw how support workers improved and assisted his daily living, and relieved the stress from his parents.
