From caring to sharing

10 September 2019

It’s not very often our Programmed Facility Management (PFM) team gets a call requesting a clean-up for a pest infestation caused by pigs, but that’s what happened to our team in New Zealand managing a school in Christchurch.

Nikki Davidson after a fantastic effort

As part of an initiative to learn ‘care and responsibility’, the school keeps a few dogs and pigs who live on site under school care. Unfortunately, the dogs and kids who played with their pig friends transferred fleas to the furniture and buildings.

The school needed to be cleaned up in a short period of time in readiness for the students!

Nikki Davidson, our Facilities Coordinator was tasked with cleaning up the school between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. Nikki and the subcontractors were able to clean the carpets and around 240 soft furniture items, making it possible for the students to return to their classrooms on Monday morning.

All in a day’s work for a PFM superstar!

Great job Nikki!
