At Programmed Facility Management, our strength lies in collaboration, with our partners, our people and our clients. That spirit came to life at the 2025 Electricity Sector Conference last week, where we had our Transpower National Team in Auckland for a day dedicated to learning, sharing and celebrating the work we do together.
This was a significant event the first time Programmed’s Transpower Projects, Maintenance, Health and Safety, Operations Support, and Leadership teams came together in one place. Programmed was honoured to contribute to the program with insights from across our operations. Presentations ranged from digital asset capture and council services to ladder safety and infrastructure strategy. Our Facilities Services Technician also shared their on the ground knowledge, covering spray equipment calibration, trailer safety and lockset maintenance.
We heard valuable updates from Transpower leaders on auditing, reporting and regional delivery. The spirit of partnership and forward momentum was felt in every conversation.
One of the day’s highlights was our annual Programmed Staff Awards, where we recognised the outstanding contributions of our team:
- Lucan Tolua received the Great Work Mate Award
- Victor Howe took home two awards — Health & Safety and Good for Morale
- Leah Vasquez was honoured for Customer Service, presented by Transpower’s Travers Hook
- Steve Devcich was awarded for Leadership
- Lloyd McLauchlan received Project of the Year for the Tiwai Roof Repairs, presented by Max Zhang of Transpower
We’d like to extend our thanks to the suppliers and partners who supported the event.
As always, we are proud to be part of a sector that values safety, performance and people. Here’s to another strong year ahead together.
