Located in the lower North Island, the Manawatū – Whanganui region is named after its two main rivers. The Whanganui to the north and west is the country’s longest navigable river. The Manawatū in the south east creates a large fertile plain and runs through the largest city, Palmerston North which has a population of around 91,000 people.

Covering all things maintenance and operations, Programmed has many customers in these regions. Some of their iconic portfolio include AgResearch Grasslands, Palmerston North City Council, MidCentral DHB – Palmerston North Hospital, Palmerston North Girls High School and the New Zealand Defence including Waiouru Military Camp, Ohakea Air Base and Linton Military Camp.
