Planned Maintenance

We take a proactive approach to maintenance services, minimising reactive maintenance while shifting the focus to Planned Preventative Maintenance, delivering better value for money and reducing the risk of assets failing at critical time.

Planned Maintenance includes all statutory and mandatory maintenance requirements, managed by applying the principles of our ISO 55001 certified Asset Management System. We deploy the processes, procedures and templates captured in our Integrated Management System to always keep your assets in a state of operational readiness for their intended functions.

Key factors in our Planned Maintenance approach include:

  • An Asset Register developed from initial condition audits and ongoing performance to mitigate the risk of asset failure
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling reflecting asset criticality and risk factors, developed in collaboration with our customers to minimise disruption to operations
  • Reassessment at each maintenance activity of the condition of the asset and updating the Asset Register as appropriate
  • A robust technology platform to support Planned Maintenance and provide forecasting, reporting and visibility to our customers.

Programmed was founded in Victoria in 1951 and has grown through decades of expansion and acquisitions. Today we employ more than 32,000 people a year and support more than 10,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand.
