Airways Corporation of New Zealand

"The professional image is restored and the asset well protected."

Duane Butts, Engineer Manager
Airways Corporation of New Zealand

Project Description

The control tower at Palmerston North Airport, one of Airway’s bases, needed a refresh that would continue to protect its assets and provide staff with an aesthetically invigorated work environment.

With an impending visit by high profile visitors as further impetus for works, the Airways Corporation engaged Programmed for their commercial painting project. Based on previous jobs and an ongoing relationship, the customer knew they could trust Programmed’s high level of professionalism and ability to work within tight timeframes to deliver the quality outcomes required.

Project Solution

For the work within the Airways Corporation’s tight security areas, a team of highly skilled commercial painters were chosen. Such work included the repaint of the control tower’s interior areas, external walls, as well as the power centre.

Our Zero Harm policy ensured work was completed to the highest standard, reassuring the Airways Corporation that all their safety requirements were fulfilled.

Project Outcome

Meticulous attention to detail has given the Palmerston North Control Tower a clean, professional new look reflective of the quality work Airways performs. “The professional image is restored and the asset well protected” said Duane Butts, Engineer Manager, Airways Corporation of New Zealand.

Programmed’s proactive project management and communication with the customer, particularly its ground staff, facilitated smooth on-time completion for an asset the Airways Corporation could proudly show their high profile visitors around.
