Project Description

Forest Lake School sought to update the interior of their administration block to reflect the school’s new colours and to refresh the space, which had begun to look dated. The previous decor no longer matched the school’s current branding and needed a modern update.

Project Solution

Programmed Property Services worked closely with the school to facilitate the repainting of the admin block. We collaborated with Dulux to choose suitable colours and used high-opacity paints to achieve the desired results efficiently.

The project was scheduled during the school holidays to minimise disruption. We coordinated with the caretaker for building access and arranged to return later to complete areas that were initially inaccessible due to the presence of school shop items.

Our approach allowed us to complete the work with minimal interference to the school’s operations and ensured a smooth process from start to finish.

Project Outcome

The updated interior of the admin block now features lighter, more modern colours that have restored the space. Staff feedback has been positive, noting the improved appearance and atmosphere.

The project highlighted our ability to work around operational constraints and manage scheduling effectively. By using high-opacity paints, we were able to reduce the number of coats required, which was both cost-effective and efficient.
