Project Description
South Wairarapa District Council aimed to refresh the ANZAC hall in Featherston, a notable heritage building, with a new coat of paint and necessary building repairs. The goal was to enhance the hall’s appearance while ensuring minimal disruption to its ongoing use.
Project Solution
Programmed was well-suited for this task with our dual expertise in painting and building repairs. Our team managed the exterior painting and roof washing, while our contractor handled the building repairs. This comprehensive approach provided the Council with a single point of contact and streamlined the entire process.
We used our cloud-based FieldView application to maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the project. The new color scheme not only restored the hall but also complemented its heritage features, reflecting our commitment to both quality and respect for historical significance.
Project Outcome
The project was completed over several months, resulting in a refreshed and well-maintained ANZAC hall. As this was our first engagement with the South Wairarapa District Council, it provided a solid foundation for the potential to collaborate in the future. Our ability to manage both painting and repairs effectively ensured the project was completed on time and within budget, with minimal impact on the hall’s use.
