Celebrating 25 years with Kellogg’s

30 September 2020

In July Programmed proudly celebrated 25 years of working alongside the team at Kellogg’s.

Programmed Industrial Maintenance (PIM), known as Skilled Engineering back then, was first engaged by Kellogg’s in 1995 when they were looking to streamline operations and costs by outsourcing their maintenance works. The partnership saw 75 mechanical tradespeople from Programmed embedded.

Over the years, Programmed have continued to grow alongside Kellogg’s, diversifying their service offering to provide not only contract maintenance but also admin, safety and training support. Today the 32-person team at Kellogg’s consists of administrators, apprentices, electricians, store persons and mechanics.

Sundeep Minhas, Operations Manager, joined the team at Kellogg’s in 2008 when Programmed was only providing maintenance work.

Tasked with looking at continuous improvement and diversification of service delivery, Sundeep has seen many achievements in his 12 years with the business. The most notable being their current streak of two years LTI free and the delivery of over $500,000 in continuous improvements during the past five years through the optimisation of rostering and training, amongst other initiatives.

The Kellogg’s relationship is one of PIM’s oldest partnerships and a true example of how Programmed’s diverse suite of services can be unified to suit a customer’s needs.
