At Programmed Facility Management, our commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of our work. Today, we’re excited to share how our choice to use Natrakelp at Chamberlain Park is making a significant positive impact on our environment.
What is Natrakelp?
We’ve made a conscious decision to incorporate Natrakelp, a liquid seaweed with plant and soil conditioning properties, into our maintenance practices at Chamberlain Park. With its 65% seaweed content and essential nutrients, it’s a natural fit for our vision of sustainability.
Our Sustainable Strategy
For over a year now, Natrakelp has played a key role in our maintenance routine. While the results are encouraging, our focus goes beyond the product itself. It’s about the broader commitment we’ve made to sustainability. Other things we are doing in this space are, the roll out of electric vehicles and mowers and actively engaging with volunteers and environmental groups to help regenerate and protect our native flora and fauna.
Transforming the Golf Course
The results are tangible: improved turf health, stronger root growth, improved resistance to pest and disease and a reduction in chemical usage. This transformation isn’t just beneficial for golfers; it’s a win for the environment. Less chemical runoff, less water use and healthier turf are steps toward a more eco-friendly future.
Paving the Way to a Greener Tomorrow
Our choice to use Natrakelp aligns seamlessly with our dedication to sustainable practices. We’re not merely managing facilities; we’re actively cultivating a greener, more sustainable future.
Join us in celebrating our commitment to making a positive difference. Stay tuned for updates as we continue our journey towards a more sustainable Chamberlain Park.
