Normalise pursuing a trade like Lauren

3 April 2018

Lauren joined the Programmed team over a year ago when she decided to take up a trade as an electrical apprentice through our training partnership with Woodside.

Having worked together for more than 20 years’ Programmed and Woodside are bolstering the link between providing women with alternate career pathways both on and offshore.

Lauren is a mother of two, so the flexibility of her role suits her family commitments perfectly and provides her with the opportunity to learn on the job.

Inspiring and representing change, Lauren hopes that her actions today prompt young girls and women to look into pursuing a trade just as they would any other career pathway.
